Application :
1. Apply fully mixed material to the prepared surface.
2. Initially apply the material in a very thin layer to “wet” out the surface and avoid air entrapment.
3. Build up to desired thickness (minimum 6 mm), avoid air entrapment.
4. At 23°C the working time is 30 minutes. Functional cure time is 6 hours, post cure at 148°C for 2 hours.
LOCTITE® 262 is a red, common purpose, medium to excessive strength, thixotropic methacrylate-based adhesive. Steel fixture time is 15 min, brass eight min and stainless metal a hundred and eighty min. It fluoresces beneath UV mild to permit monitoring. Ideal for functions the place any migration of the adhesive have to be prevented. Can tolerate mild contaminations of industrial oils. Suitable for all metallic fasteners.
